Parks & Recreation

Plano is committed to providing an outstanding park system throughout the city.

Over 3800 acres of parks and trails, five recreation centers, numerous activity programs and special events all contribute to the quality of life in Plano. This is managed by the nationally accredited Plano Parks and Recreation Department.

The yearly Plano Balloon Festival that happens every September.


Recently redesigned, The Shops at Willow Bend offers world-class shopping, dining and events experience. Executive office tower is scheduled to open in 2019.
